ABT electronics quickly shipped the item and it came with everything needed to replace the ice maker in my old fridge. The instructions were clear and it was a snap. Ice did taste a bit plasticy for the first week or so.

Keurig Single Serving Coffe and Tea Maker Bundle - B70 Review

(More customer reviews)I give this 3 stars just because it is a Keurig and the single serve system is great.
I do however have a beef with this model. Not only is it more expensive than your BJ's or Costco it also lacks certain features you get when you purchase the B70 model. I just bought mine at BJ's and I am returning it to purchase a B70 model.
The differences are:
B70 ( Platinum )
Cup sizes up to 12oz
Adjustable Temp
Lacks the 72 K-Cups instead you get 12.
B77 ( Select )
Stops at 10oz
No Adjustable Temp.
Bonus 72 K-Cups instead of the 12.
If you don't care much for the differences then the extra K-cups might make it worth the buy. I would still suggest you get it from BJ's or Costco since this price is $30 more here than they have it for.
I wanted the 12oz so I decided to forgo the extra k-cups and I am going for the B70 (Platinum).

(More customer reviews)I bought this product late November of 2009 and initially liked it fine. Here is what I wrote initially:
"Works fine. When you had a Braun previously, as I did, some of the parts don't stick together as easily as you are used to. Works fine though, and has a stronger engine than the Braun did. For pure functionality it deserves 4 stars."
Based on this I gave the Miallegro 3 Stars.
Now we are 10 weeks later and 2 knobs that hold the motor part and the attachments together have come off. Not good, obviously. Am now about to call customer service to get the product replaced and will update on how that goes.
But the fact that this has happened at all, shows this isn't a very well engineered product unfortuntely...
Consider yourself warned.

New Keurig B70 B77 with Free 60 My K CUP Coffee Maker Review

(More customer reviews)I call this Keurig my dream machine. I absolutely love it and you will too if you purchase one. One of the things I like about this machine is that once you find the coffee you love (and I like the Donut Shop, Emeril's and Paul Newman brands) it will always make the most perfect cup of coffee. You know how when you brew a pot of coffee sometimes it's perfect, sometimes it's too weak, and other times it's too strong -- well the Keurig gives you a perfect cup of coffee every single time. It's amazing.
My husband only drinks decaf coffee and I only drink "real" coffee. In the past we would waste a lot of coffee because he would make a pot and drink a cup or two and I would throw out the rest of his coffee to make my pot of coffee and generally I only drink one cup in the morning and one in the afternoon so all the extra coffee in my pot would get thrown away as well. Waste, waste, waste. But not anymore. I can have a cup of "real" coffee whenever I want and my husband can have his decaf whenever he wants.
I also want to say that there are so many different flavors of coffee and brands to choose from as well as teas (both caffinated and decaf). Hint..don't get the hot chocolate because it sucks. I also didn't care for the vanilla flavored coffee because it was too weak.
Another thing I love about this machine is that it makes the coffee so fast and it comes out hot. All of my other coffee makers served up lukewarm coffee. The Keurig brews the perfect coffee at the perfect temperature every time. Of course if you add half a cup of milk or cream it will cool your coffee off but that's to be expected.
My last reason for recommending this coffee maker is that you don't have to order the coffee online all of the time. Sam's Club, Costco, and other retail stores sell it now at pretty good prices. You can buy a box of 80 at Sam's Club for $32. That's only $0.40 a cup of joe. And since this coffee is just as good as Starbuck's that's a real bargain.
I paid $184 for my Keurig B70/B77 on Amazon and I'm so happy with it but I just want to tell everyone that you can get the same machine at Sam's Club for $129. I wish I knew that before I purchased my machine but I'm still thrilled with it no matter what I paid for it.

I have had this tea maker for about 4 years now, and for the past year it spills everywhere when you try to pour the awkward shaped/heavy pitcher. Looking for a replacement. Also, the double insulated acrylic has cracked so much, and there is now tea that has somehow seeped in between the layers. Impossible to clean.

Paragon The Arctic Blast SnoCone Machine Review

(More customer reviews)EDIT 07/23/09: Another month and another trade event. I made approximately 500-600 snow cones at this event and the machine performed perfectly without any problems at all. This machine is certainly well built and will serve you well. I can't recommend this machine highly enough.
ORIGINAL REVIEW FOLLOWS:
I bought this unit for a three-day trade event and it performed perfectly. I easily made back the purchase price of the unit without issue, so the price point on this item is wonderful.
The motor is strong and it crushes ice quickly if left at the factory setting. I found that the ice is a bit coarse for some people as calibrated at the factory, so I adjusted the blades to produce a VERY fine snow. The finer snow absorbs the flavorings much better than coarse ice and has a more "Italian Ice" look to it.
The instruction manual for the unit does not tell you how to adjust the blades, so I will tell you now:
1. MAKE SURE THE UNIT IS UNPLUGGED!
2. Lay the unit on its side, with the door facing up.
3. Use the hex wrench that came with the machine to loosen the blade assembly set screws. This is done be reaching into the hole that the ice falls from when grinding, rotating the assembly, then finding the set screws. You will need to rotate the assembly again when the screws are loose or they will make contact when you try to remove the cutter assembly.
4. Push the cutter assembly off the shaft and into the ice chute. Be careful not to cut yourself on the sharp blades.
5. Use a flat-head screwdriver to loosen the two screws on each blade.
6. Move the blades IN to shave the ice finer or OUT for a course, crushed ice.
7. Tighten the screws and reassemble the unit.
You will need to experiment a bit to get the perfect shave/crush, but it is worth it.
Things to note:
The ice tray does not drain very well, so you might want to prop up the end opposite the drain in order to help water flow to the drain. I also backed the drain out until the plastic portion that goes into the pan was flush with the inside of the pan in order to help it drain better.
You WILL spill water all over the place when you try to clean the tray if you don't use some towels to dry it before attempting to remove it, as you have to lean the tray considerably to get the drain to come out of the case. Another suggestion is to put a plug in the drain when you are removing the tray, otherwise water will certainly pour out if you don't soak up water from it.
The motor seems to be very strong and I expect it to run for quite some time. I made hundreds of snow cones without any issues and the machine performed perfectly the whole time.
The product information doesn't mention it, but there is a decal on the front of the unit that says "Sno-Cones." The decal looks nice and helps advertise your product.
Overall, I would give this unit an 8.5 out of 10. Highly recommended.

Finum Iced Tea Control Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this Finum Iced Tea pitcher after seeing it in a store. I was trying to replace an old style Bodum glass tea pot with steeper(after I broker the glass) that is no longer in production.
I like the Finum pitcher but my only criticism is that the way the steeper sits in the pitcher (up high) doesn't allow the tea to steep as well as it should. This is especially noticeable when there is ice in the pitcher because I think it cools the water down.
I'm using loose tea and still experimenting. What I have found is that it is best to let the tea steep longer or use less ice.

I have made all kinds of cupcakes and muffins... it took me a little while to get the amount to put in the cups right and my first few batched were not very pretty, however the more I make the happier I am. I love to take it to school and make fresh treats for my kid's birthday right in class! The kids love it!
The one downfall of this wonderful creation is clean up. Attempting to get all the burnt crumbs out of the cups takes more time than actually making the cupcakes. But with a little elbow grease and a generous helping of wet paper towels it can be done pretty quickly.
Overall it is silly and fun and frivolous. If you are a real baker you probably don't want this, but I can see college kids or busy, on the go people liking this a lot. I sure do!

(More customer reviews)This is great as an ice tray; you don't have to run water over the bottom, crack and twist the tray, and then get splintered ice, drips all over your kitchen, and too many or too few cubes. You don't have to turn it upside down; just push from the bottom and get exactly however many cubes--I mean, shells! you want, with no breakage or mess. The tray is a little soft and flexible so you do have to find a flat place in the freezer for it, and when I stacked another tray on top I got a little bit of "stickage" and a few misshapen shells; not a big deal unless you wanted perfectly shaped decorative ice.
Tonight I also used them to make chocolates (by melting chocolate chips & peanut butter together), and am very pleased with the detailed design and how easy it is to remove the candies; you can stretch the silicone a little bit so you don't lose the detail of the shells, and the others are not disturbed . These would make lovely butter pats too! Each well holds exactly one tablespoon of liquid.

The taste and texture achieved remind me of a very old ice cream parlor located in my home country, Dominican Republic,called 'Imperiales'. (More customer reviews)I have purchased three of these and I think I am going to purchase another. The last three still work. The first one was designed a little differently, more like the Magic Bullet. The last two are like the picture with the push button. The first I had gotten for my daughter when she moved out. Well she moved back in so I got to use it. I love it for protein shakes. Then I bought two more one for me and one for my sister. Well the son moved out so he got the oldest one. The daughter moved out so she got the one that was here that we were using. The third one was a gift to my sister. Now I don' have one here and I wanted to get away from the three tabs only because sometimes they are hard to slide in. After reading all the reviews I decided that for the price you cannot beat it. It comes with more blending cups than any of the others. Once you get used to using it, you will find out what works and what doesn't. The pulse button is great, just like a large blender you are not supposed to let it run nonstop. Unless the Magic Bullet has changed design you have to turn the whole cup and then turn to stop so hard to pulse. It also has the three tabs. I have used the Magic Bullet so this is from first hand experience.

Cons
1. Cups are probably not dishwasher safe. I have had some leak in the seam, so I stopped putting them in the dishwasher. I did contact the manufacturer and they did send me two replacement cups (including useless travel lids and gray rings) :) I just had to pay shipping $4.95. They did report the problem so maybe there will be a fix. I also thought it might be caused by the whole ice cubes pulsing against the sides.
Neutral
1. The gray rings, not sure what their purpose is. They are too small to insulate, I don't hold the cup at the top to drink. Don't really get it. Would rather see another cup or a refrigerator lid.
If you are using ice, you have to use a liquid. I don't really think it is loud. if you are crushing ice it will be loud no matter what blender you are using. You only blend for seconds, so no big deal to me.
Now that I have written a novel, I hope that it will help someone choose.

(More customer reviews)I'm totaly disapointed with this machine. It throws the unmelted sugar all over the kitchen, then the half melted sugar shoots out and sticks to the bowl. When it finaly gets hot enough to make cotton candy, there isn't much sugar left to make the cotton candy. If you add more sugar at this point, the shooting/spraying/throwing process starts all over! Also, make sure that you hold on to the machine while it is running. If you dont, the vibration is so bad that the machine will "walk" itself right off the table or counter.

While it takes boiling water without cracking, the glass is very thin so not long after receiving them, I broke one just by drying vigorously (twisted too hard on the top edge!) You cannot make just one or two cups of tea because the leaves won't be under water - the basket is too short for anything below about 3/4 full and best if nearly full. I've now switched to making tea (for iced tea) in a smaller cup then mixing with water in the remaining beaker. Good idea if the basket were longer.

I am extremely pleased with the features of this electric baker. Any oil running out of the iron winds harmlessly around a cleverly designed track, cooling solid before running onto the counter. The heat setting dial with light and the latch insures each cookie is the same thickness and color. I have finished my "Norwegian" baking duties in half the time it normally takes.
